Welcome!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. Since 2004, we have been organizing a charity motorcycle run called "The Ride for Hope" in an effort to raise money for The ALS Association.

What is ALS?

Defined by the ALS Association, "Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease", is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed." For more information visit http://www.alsa.org

The Ride for Hope is a charity motorcycle run that raises money to help fight ALS. After losing a loved one to this terrible disease, we started our annual run to help fight the cause. Each year, we hold a motorcycle run, followed by a party with food, music, a pig roast, and a rodeo. All of the proceeds are directly donated to The ALS Association.

8th Annual Ride for Hope- 9/18/11

This year, thanks to all of your help, the Ride for Hope raised $9,800! All of the proceeds were donated to the ALS Association in an effort to help find a cure for Lou Gehrig's Disease. Thank you to everyone who joined us in our event this year, and a special thanks to all of our sponsors and to all of the police assistance we had to keep us safe during our ride. We thank you for your continued support, and hope to see you again next year! Until then, ride safe!
